I crossed 14 months of hormone replacement therapy last week and it has prompted me to look back at my transition so far.

A week ago, I received incredibly bad news regarding my hormone levels. After much consideration, I have elected to do what I believe is best course of action. My doctor may not agree.
I had my first blood test since switching to injections last week and the results are absolutely terrible. After a year of hormone replacement therapy, my levels are back to where they were prior to my transition.
I have now been on hormone replacement therapy for 11 months and I feel like my gender transition is in a pretty good place.
I have now been on injections for an entire dosage cycle and it seems to be going pretty well.
I am doing better now. The last few weeks have been pretty rough. Between issues with the pharmacy, a lot of back-and-forth with my HRT provider, and some bad bouts of gender dysphoria, I have been struggling quite a bit. It has not been a good week.
It seems that I have reached an odd stage in my transition where I don’t pass as a woman, but don’t exactly read as a man.
